I chose to do a Barack Obama portrait for this project because it was our Black History month project and Barack Obama represents the United States as well as the black community.

AP Studio Art Inquiry

1. Identify the question(s) or inquiry that guided your sustained investigation. It was originally "How can I represent my roots to Louisiana culture through portraits." 2. Describe how your sustained investigation shows evidence of practice, experimentation, and revision guided by your question(s) or inquiry. I have changed my medium for portraits and drawing to digital artwork. Instead of doing portraits of my family members like originally planned,  I have began digital portraits of my family members Mardi Gras mask.
